Couplings, brake discs, brake drums

SHB couplings are flexible pin couplings fitted with brake disc or brake drum. As regards their construction and type, they are positive, flexible, resilient shaft couplings. Their use is almost exclusively as connecting element between motor and gear input shaft. Power transmission between the half couplings is by means of pin-mounted flexible elements consisting of different materials depending on the type of service and the ambient conditions.

Characteristics

Flexible pin coupling with brake drum - type A, B, C and D

All drum diameters conform to DIN 15431 or TGL 38558, nominal torque between 160 Nm and 16000 Nm

Flexible pin coupling with brake disc - type EBK

Disc diameter between 315 mm and 1250 mm. Nominal torque between 400 Nm and 25000 Nm
The size of the coupling matches the disc brakes of the series RST/SST
