Series RST/SST

Standard-series disc brakes are designed for exclusive upright installation and side mounting of thrusters. The basic version is equipped with AC thrusters type Elhy^®, all other common types can also be used. Unless otherwise, the brakes operates on the "failsave" principle, i. e., if the primary energy of the brake fails, the brake will be closed. Due to their robust and simple construction the disc brakes are suitable for applications in high stressed drives under extremely environmental conditions (e. g. sea ports, steel plants, open cast mining devices).
