Drum brakes

SHB drum brakes are designed according to the German standard DIN 15435 which are applied by a cylindrical helical compression spring and released by variable releasing principles. Standard-series drum brakes are suitable for upright installation and side mounting of AC thrusters, for mounting the AC thrusters above the brake drum series SL is suitable. The basic version is equipped with AC thrusters type Elhy®, but also all other common types can be used. Unless not otherwise required, the brake operates after a failsafe-principle, which means, if the primary energy of the brake fails, the brake will be closed.
