The public automatic parking system

is located in the city centre of Dresden.

 

This parking system is at present one of the largest public, automatic facilities in Europe:

  • is in operation since 2005,
  • consists of three individual systems with separate entries and exits,
  • has a cash point system with ticket issuer, payment terminal, and administration,
  • is equipped with a video system in the hand-over areas,
  • has a remote diagnostics system for the monitoring of the technical equipment.

Each car is…

  • measured in the hand-over room and transported automatically according to its height to its parking bay in the parking area,
  • reached directly by the technology,
  • transported carefully on pallets,
  • turned in the parking area and made available again in exit direction.

The entry terminals…

  • separate the public area of the users from the machine in the parking area

-  have passed TÜV (MOT) -

  • have a position control system, in order to simplify the entry.
