The prototype in Saalfeld

stands on the area of the company,

  • is in operation since 2000,
  • serves for parking the cars of employees, company vehicles and cars of tenants of the neighbouring residential area.
  • An additional staircase at the exterior front of the parking facility and a platform gives also visitors the possibility to observe the movement procedures also during the operation of the system.
  • There are parking bays for 29 cars available on a surface area of 10 m x 12 m and a total height of 12 m.
  • The registration for the entry into the spaciously designed hand-over area is made at the terminal.
  • The position control system indicates the correct position during the parking procedure.
  • When the car has been handed over, it is turned in the interior by the technology and transported to the parking bay.
  • The highest car density is reached by additional driving shelves.
  • The direct access of the technology to each parking bay in the system is kept.
  • After parking the car is made available in exit direction in the hand-over room.
  • The prototype is ready for a visit and discussion.
  • Many tests and a realistic long-term operation guarantee a reliably working system, also after years.
